When to Call an Emergency Electrician: 5 Situations That Can't Wait

1. Sparking Outlets or Switches

But large, bright sparks, repeated sparking, or sparks accompanied by a popping sound indicate a serious problem. Sparking can be caused by loose wiring, a short circuit, or damaged outlet internals. 2. Burning Smell from Outlets or Panel
